I don't sing, so how can I help?

Amasong depends on volunteers for board members and for helping with concerts. There is always plenty to do. There are tasks that require a little time and some that are more involved.

Board Members

The Amasong Board consists of 10 to 12 women, singers and non-singers, who run the organization. They develop policies and budgets and carry out the projects that further the well-being of Amasong. Board members host the annual retreat and participate in activities with the chorus. They plan the events and make sure that the concerts come off without a hitch. They are responsible for the financial health of Amasong. Terms on the board are a minimum of two years, maximum of six. 

Committees

Don't want a long-term commitment? Try out a committee for a short time.  Help with finances, help plan an event, help with publicity—all this and more are possible.

Concerts

Be a ticket or CD seller at a concert. Help set out the goodies at a concert or perform other setup and cleanup tasks. Pick one evening or two twice a year. You name it—we will be happy to have you!
